Brazos County is currently under a burn ban. Fires at campsites are forbidden until the ban is lifted, and grills must be covered and contain all embers. Violations could result in a Class C misdemeanor and fine of up to $500.

Park Rules

Please follow all Lake Bryan rules to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone

Make A Camping Reservation

Please adhere to all park rules and regulations for the enjoyment and safety of all of our patrons.

  • Valid Camping Permit must be openly displayed in every vehicle
  • All campsite reservations are subject to a maximum rental period of nine (9) nights. After reaching this threshold, the person reserving the campsite, and everyone else in their household, must wait thirty (30) days before making another reservation.
  • Check in time for campers is 2:00 pm * Check out time for campers is 12:00 pm
  • Campsite quiet hours are 10:00 pm through 6:00 am.  (NOTE: There may be live music noise from the Cadillac Ranch Bar & Grill until 1:00 am, Thursday – Sunday)
  • No generators in any campsites
  • No loud or profane music
  • Vehicles may only be driven on designated roadways
  • No ATVs, Golf Carts, Electric or Motorized Off Road Motorcycles & Scooters
  • All Watercraft must obey all federal, state and local watercraft laws
  • All watercraft must be off the lake 30 minutes prior to park closing
  • Swimming allowed except in marked restricted areas.  Swim at own risk, NO LIFEGUARDS on Duty at any time
  • Fishing permit required
  • Fishing is prohibited in marked restricted areas near the power plant intake/discharge or in designated swimming areas
  • Patrons may NOT launch or fly rockets, model airplanes, drones, or other projectiles in the park
  • No Glass Containers, Bottles
  • No items that may cause excessive litter including (colored powder, paint, chalk, rice, glitter, confetti, pinatas, or water balloons) 
  • All trash must be placed in proper containers, including pet droppings -No Littering
  • Pets must be leashed at all times
  • No Horses
  • No Hammocks secured to Lake Bryan Property
  • No Temporary Attractions such as inflatables, bounce houses, water slides, dunk booths, etc. 
  • No Weapons 
  • No Hunting
  • No Fireworks
  • No gathering or cutting of Firewood on Lake Bryan Property
  • Campfires must be contained in established fire rings or grills
  • All fires must be completely extinguished before leaving the park
  • Vendors must obtain valid permit to operate in the park
